50k For Breakfast
This ride kicks off on one of our favorite morning ride training routes, the Bhimdhunga Loop. It briefly leaves the Kathmandu Valley and doubles back towards Mudkhu (the most famous tea stop for cyclists in Kathmandu) before traversing the lower slopes of the valley rim to Kopan Monastery and ending in Bouldanath for some well earned Dhapouw (Tibetan MoMo’s).
The 75k Challenge
Ride through the magical Shivapuri National Park, first starting with a road climb to Gurje Bhanjyang where we enter the park. If you are lucky you will catch a sneak peak of the Himalaya. The trail then undulates with some fun descents all the way to Mulkharka, a secluded lunch spot, climb again for 14km before exiting the park and heading towards Nagarkot and back to Kathmandu.
Recommended start time for this ride is 7am in the morning. We can arrange hotel pick up if required.
Guide will look after the bike spare parts, tools and first aid kits. You should carry your own small back pack with some energy bars, sun cream, sunglasses, buff, a rain jacket and camera if you need one.
Please note there are many bail out points on each ride, if you get tired or cannot complete just let the guide know and he will adjust the route.
