Namaskar, I’m Anisha Gurung from Dhankuta. I started cycling when I was 19 as a form of traveling, and coming to Kathmandu for my university had a chance to participate in national and international races. Having to struggle financially as an athlete, I chose to be a Mountain Bike guide and now I am working at the same time playing races. Himalayan Single Track has been a bridge to my mountain biking passion, which has now turned into a career.
My favorite place for cycling around Kathmandu is Shivapuri National Park and outside Kathmandu, I enjoy riding around Mustang Region. Nowadays people are very busy, making mountain biking a progressive adventure to reach traveling destinations in a shorter time while covering a longer distance.
